The Meadville Family YMCA is excited to announce the opening of a new early learning and school-age enrichment program in the Linesville community located at 401 S. Mercer Street.
“The Linesville childcare project has been in development for nearly two years and we’d like to thank our staff and community partners for all their hard work and dedication during this process,” said Tina Carter, Meadville Family YMCA CEO. “We are extremely excited to be able to offer quality, affordable childcare in the Linesville community.”
The Linesville project is made possible by generous donations from MFG Tray Company of Linesville and The MFG Foundation of Ashtabula with checks totaling $10,000. Founded in 1952, MFG Tray has been a longstanding member of the Linesville community and has continued to foster growth in northwestern Pennsylvania for almost seven decades.
“The Molded Fiber Glass Companies have always believed in the principle of investing in our communities,” said John Thompson, MFG Senior Vice President. “MFG Tray Company and The MFG Foundation are delighted to provide this contribution to bring these childhood education programs to the children and families in our community.”
The Meadville Family YMCA is Crawford County’s leader in childhood education, enrolling over 200 children in multiple locations.
