Assistant Program Staff
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the head coach with instructing students in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
- Organize and direct individual and small group practice activities/exercises as directed by the head coach.
- Assesses gymnast’s skills, monitors participants during competition and practice, and keeps the head coach informed of the athletic performance of students.
- Assists with strategy to conduct successful gymnastics meet.
- Know and review all emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations immediately in accordance with YMCA policies, procedures, and the “safe-in-six” model; complete related reports as required.
- Model sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards students, officials, and spectators.
- Assist the head coach with submitting a list of award winners at the end of the season for the annual awards banquet. Also, must assist the head coach at parent orientation and registration.
- Perform support tasks such as distributing and maintaining eligibility forms, emergency data cards, and other related records.
- Attending staff development meetings, clinics, and other professional activities to improve coaching performance.
- Perform similar and related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Manages, directs and coordinates the early learning programs for assigned location(s). Ensures
high quality programs and establishes new program activities. Expands program within the
community in accordance with strategic and operating plans.
2. Provides staff leadership for annual fund raising campaign and committees as assigned.
3. Maintains proper records/department files.
4. Provide support, cooperation and leadership to ensure compliance with government grants and
private foundation grants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Process returned checks and drafts in accounting system.
- Process billing for childcare sites.
- Organize resources and deliverables to best meet intended goals and outcomes.

- Completes a variety of accounting, financial analysis, and budget projects.
- Assumes general office duties including typing, filing, and answering phone.

1. Implements curriculum within the established guidelines. 2. Nurtures children through purposeful programming dedicated to building achievement and belonging in youth and relationships among youth and within families.
3. Supervises the children, classroom, and all activities including ADA accommodations where appropriate. Follows all procedures and standards.
4. Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child.
5. Cultivates positive relationships, conducts parent conferences, and maintains effective communication with parents. Engages parents as volunteers and connects them to the YMCA.

7. Maintains required program records.
8. Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.

Membership Staff
Essential Functions:
- Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the Y and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
- Greet all guests as they enter the facility
- Gather and record member data into Core
- Provides information and assistance related to membership rates, programs, scholarships and other Y amenities.
- Prepares member records and handles registration / enrollment transactions.
- Conduct interviews and/or tours responsive to the needs of prospective members; sells memberships.
- Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and the YMCA
- Greet all guests as they enter the facility
- Facilitate member to member engagement.
- Handles and resolves membership concerns and informs Membership Coordinator of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
- Applies all YMCA policies dealing with member services.

- Monitor the locker rooms and towel bins frequently (where applicable).
- Provide laundered towel service (where applicable) and fresh coffee to members.
- Report any items that may provide a health and safety hazard to staff, members or guests to the maintenance staff.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and lobby areas and ensures cleanliness of facility.

Personal Trainer
1. Supports members, participants, or project teams in achieving their goals. Serves as resource for staff in all matters relating to their training expertise.
2. Develops appropriate tools necessary to offer quality training; provides feedback to participants and proper instruction in use of support materials.

Business Office Assistant
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Entering invoice to be paid and getting checks signed
• Ensure bills are billing paid onto and recording payments
• Completing the bank deposits
• Reviewing bank statements monthly to ensure everything is posted correctly
• Getting out paystubs and completing necessary payroll files (electronic and paper)
• Serving as a point of contact with vendors
• Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
