FREE 8 Week Fitness Challenge
Jump Start Your New Year’s Fitness Resolution!
During this mini fitness challenge our staff will support you to reach your 8-week fitness goals. During the 8 weeks there will be weekly check ins or weigh ins along with 4 information sessions about healthy living and nutrition topics. We need 20 participants to take part in this FREE fitness challenge to get ready for our New Weight Loss Program coming in 2023! The sign up is first come first serve so all you need to be is a member of our Y to register below today!
October-December, 2022 Calendar:
All Weigh Ins and FREE Nutrition Classes will be held at our Downtown Y Branch.
- Week 1 – 8 Week Challenge BEGINS:
- October 10th: Initial Weigh In at 5:00pm-6:00pm
- October 13th: FIRST Free Nutrition Class at 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Topic: Getting Started with Nutrition. Possible Obstacles & Missing Pieces. What Does a Healthy Meal Look Like?
- Week 2:
- October 17th: Weigh In at 8:00am-10:00am
- October 20th: Weigh In at 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Week 3:
- October 24th: Weigh In 8:00am-10:00am
- October 27th: Free Nutrition Class and Weigh In at 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Topic: Avoiding Overuse and Injuries
- Week 4:
- October 31st: Weigh In at 8:00am-10:00am
- November 3rd: Free Nutrition Class and Weigh In at 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Topic: Halfway Through Challenge: Q & A
- Week 5:
- November 7th: Weigh In at 8:00am-10:00am
- November 10th: Weigh In at 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Week 6:
- November 14th: Weigh In at 8:00am-10:00am
- November 17th: Free Nutrition Class and Weigh In at 5:00pm-6:00pm

- November 21st: Weigh In at 8:00am-10:00am
- November 24th: Thanksgiving – YMCA Closed
- Week 8 – FINAL Measurements:
- November 28th: Weigh In at 8:00am-10:00am
- December 1st: Weigh In at 5:00pm-6:00pm
