WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS
Meadville YMCA Volunteer Opportunities
The Meadville Family YMCA is a volunteer-founded, volunteer-led organization. Working locally, we focus on empowering young people, improving health and well-being, and inspiring action in and across communities. By bringing people together from different backgrounds, perspectives and generations, we ensure that we all have access to the opportunities, relationships and resources necessary to learn, grow and thrive. With a focus on developing the potential of youth, improving individual health and well-being, and giving back to and supporting communities, your participation brings about meaningful change not just within yourself, but also in your community. When you volunteer at the Y, you take an active role in creating significant change right in your own neighborhood. Volunteers are essential to the work we do and the goals we want to achieve in our community. As a volunteer you will be part of a community, learn new skills, and gain valuable work experience that will enhance your career opportunities. Please read through the following packet which will give you information about our organization and opportunities to get started as a volunteer.
